Camp Week

For the next week all the Year 7 and 8s will be away on their camp. We will have the WHOLE playground!! But we will be doing lots of things outside the classroom ourselves. Starting with Monday - we are all off to Stoney Oaks in Inglewood where we will see lots of different animals and birds.We will be able to pet lots of them and feed some too.
Tuesday we are going to Earney's organic farm. We will make a slideshow of all the animals we will see. Donkeys and their babies, peacocks,pigs and piglets,all different breeds of hens and chickens,Molly the Fox Terrier, goats and kids,geese and goslings.
Wednesday we are going out to Tututawa to Mackie's deer farm to learn all about antlers and velvet harvesting.
On Thursday we are going to Weirs dairy farm and then to Smiths sheep farm. We will see cows milked and sheep shorn.
On Friday we will do all sorts of activities at Smiths farm. They even have a lake with kayaks.
