Room 1 is the New Entrant, Years 1 and 2 class of Toko School in Taranaki, New Zealand.
The school is situated 12 kms east of the nearest town, Stratford, on a road called 'The Forgotten Highway". The school lies in the Toko Valley between Mt Egmont and Mt Ruapehu.
We have 5 classrooms, a hall, a library and a wonderful adventure playground to play on. There are tennis courts and 2 rugby fields and an all-weather cricket pitch. We have a swimming pool with solar heating but we can really only swim in February! We bus into the BIG covered pool in Stratford for swimming lessons.
We have 16 children in our class. 7 girls and 9 boys.
