Hello from Room 1, Toko School in Taranaki. We are a class of 13 'Year 1 and 2' children, 4 girls and 9 boys.
Our school is on the 'Forgotten World Highway' which goes from Stratford across eastern Taranaki.
We are in the middle of beautiful, lush, green countryside with Mount Egmont/Taranaki looming in all it's glory over our playground to the west and Ruapehu looking majestic to the east.

We are growing sunflowers to plant out into the school garden. We have each put a seed into seedraising mix that has all the good things in it that a sunflower needs.
